Maryland Workers’ Compensation & Personal Injury Attorney

Nathan Mateer is a dedicated Maryland workers’ compensation and personal injury attorney who represents injured workers and accident victims throughout the State of Maryland. He regularly advocates for clients before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission, fighting to ensure injured employees receive the medical care and wage benefits they deserve.
In addition to workers’ compensation cases, Nathan represents individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others — including car accidents, workplace injuries, and other serious injury claims. He is committed to helping Maryland families navigate difficult times with clarity, compassion, and strong legal advocacy.

A lifelong Maryland resident raised in Carroll County, Nathan understands the communities he serves. Before becoming an attorney, he worked as a legislative assistant in the Maryland House of Delegates, where he helped Marylanders secure unemployment relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. That experience strengthened his passion for advocacy and reinforced his commitment to standing up for individuals facing challenging circumstances.

Nathan earned his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. His accounting background provides him with a practical understanding of wage calculations, financial records, and the economic impact injuries have on families — an important advantage in workers’ compensation and injury cases.

While in law school, Nathan served as Notes & Comments Editor of the Liberty University Law Review, where he developed strong research, writing, and analytical skills that now support his courtroom advocacy.
Outside the office, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and exploring Maryland’s outdoors.
