You have until April 26, 2021 to nominate your Hometown Hero. Three Hometown Heroes will be chosen to win a $1,000.00 award! Winners announced May 7.

“First responders provide a vital service to our communities, often at great personal risk,” says personal injury attorney Matt Trollinger, the firm’s founder. “They keep us safe and help us in times of great need. That’s the definition of a true Hometown Hero.”

Nominations are open to all first responders in Charles County and all of Southern Maryland, including:

  • Paramedics
  • Police Officers
  • Firefighters
  • Emergency Response Teams
  • Public Safety Providers
  • Emergency Hospital Facilities and Workers
  • Military Servicemembers
  • Other Emergency Personnel

Make Your Hometown Hero Nomination

Anyone can nominate a first responder by completing the nomination form to recognize their Hometown Hero. Nominations will be accepted from DATE through DATE. Winners will be announced INSERT HOW THEY WILL BE NOTIFIED HERE.

Submissions should be 300+ words, formatted essay style, and outline why the nominee should be considered a hometown hero.

“After an accident or emergency, there’s not always an opportunity for Marylanders to thank first responders for their help,” says Trollinger. “This gives us a chance to show our appreciation and that their efforts are never forgotten.”
