Attorney Matt Trollinger was recently a featured speaker at the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Educational Association (MWCEA) annual conference in Ocean City.
The conference brings together stakeholders in all aspects of the workers’ compensation system, including injured workers’ attorneys, employers’ lawyers, insurance adjusters, employers, employees, program administrators, and medical and rehabilitation specialists.
Trollinger, a Waldorf workers’ compensation and personal injury lawyer, was featured as a claimant’s attorney. He discussed recent cases decided by the Court of Appeals and Court of Special Appeals alongside colleagues John Vernon, a partner at Erlandson, Vernon & Daney and Ed Goldsmith, attorney at the SIF.
This is not the first time that Trollinger, founder of Trollinger Law LLC, has spoken at an MWCEA event. He has previously spoken on topics including vocational rehabilitation, representing workers’ compensation clients through the claims process and how social media can impact a client’s workers’ compensation case.
“Being able to speak and attend the MCWEA conference yet again is an honor and a privilege,” says Trollinger. “Workers’ compensation provides vital protection for Maryland’s hardworking citizens. The conference gives participants a chance to see the system from other perspectives, and I look forward to contributing to future discussions and learning from those around me.”
How We Can Help
Being injured on the job can lead to costly medical bills and a significant time off work. The Maryland workers’ compensation system is designed to provide medical coverage and partial wage replacement to injured workers through their employer’s insurance company regardless of who is at fault for a workplace accident.
However, it’s not always simple for injured workers to get the benefits that they deserve. Sometimes employers or their insurance companies deny responsibility to avoid paying workers the benefits they are entitled to. That’s where Trollinger Law LLC can help.
Charles County workers’ compensation attorney Matt Trollinger is a native Marylander. He knows about the strong work ethic motivating the state’s employees. When they are hurt on the job, he will fight for them to receive full and fair worker’s compensation benefits.
Trollinger Law LLC can help injured workers apply for benefits and assist with appeals. If you or a loved one has been injured on the job, you can learn about your rights to workers’ compensation benefits through a free case evaluation.
